Scheduling an exam
CTC Testing Services, located in Simmons Hall 304, offers in-person proctoring by appointment only.
- Please contact us at cctesting@bj7dian.com or 330-972-7084 for guidance or to schedule.
- For accommodated course testing, please refer to The Office of Accessibility. Students should continue to submit requests for testing in OA and CTC through STARS after receiving approval, and through CBAE here. For assistance with CBAE, email testing@bj7dian.com.
Administering online exams
- Faculty are encouraged to contact Computer Based Assessment and Evaluation (testing@bj7dian.com) for proctoring online exams.
- Online Learning Services can assist with setting up Brightspace exams and for assistance with Respondus Monitor for administering online unproctored exams.
- If students are unable to or do not want to use Respondus Monitor for testing, faculty are encouraged to reach out for in-person options in the testing centers. See here for testing options.

Admissions and certification testing
CTC-Testing Services is certified to proctor a wide range of admissions, certification, licensure, and other professional testing. Exams include but are not limited to the following: ACT WorkKeys, Manufacturing Skill Standards Council, HiSET (high school equivalency exam), Prov (licensure and certification), National Center for Competency Testing, Meazure Learning, and national testing programs.
On-Campus ACT - ACT for UA admission only, available if applicant is unable to take ACT on nationally scheduled test date
Please contact our office for information about any exams not listed. Counseling & Testing Center does not offer specific test preparation guides or workshops. Psychological Assessments
Psychological Assessments are available for a fee for enrolled students on referral from psychologist at the Counseling & Testing Center. Please visit the link to learn more.

Testing Services adheres to the mission of the Counseling & Testing Center and promotes community engagement and student learning, success, and retention by providing a standardized testing environment for University and community members. The Testing Services differentiates itself and the University by its certification through the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and adheres to the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.
Students in Need of Test Equipment or Space?
Currently enrolled students can access laptops through Bierce Library and our Department of Information Technology Services. How to check out a laptop.
Faculty are also encouraged to refer students to the testing centers if they lack appropriate space or equipment, or prefer to take online administered testing in person.
