What we do

The Education Abroad (study abroad) department is dedicated to helping you explore opportunities to experience other cultures while earning credits toward your degree program. We also understand that you are searching for a program that will be the right fit for your budget, time and personal goals. We can help you make your choice!

Basic types of programs

  1. Exchange Programs
    • These programs are for either 1 semester (fall or spring) or 2 (both) with locations in Europe, Asia and South America.

  2. Third-Party Programs

These programs can be for  short term (summer session), 1 semester (fall or spring) or more.  We work with several different third-parties who have locations in Europe, Asia, Africa and America (North, Central and South).
  3. UA Faculty-Led Short-Term Programs These programs are classes led by a faculty member to one or several countries for several days or weeks.

Once you choose a program, it's time to Get Started.
